Welcome to Zoukies dance classes!! 💫 About Zoukies Classes: What makes Zoukies classes special is the unique environment of heart-opening friendliness, well-being and technique. Classes are organised in levels: Beginners (Levels 1a, 1b, 1c) Improvers (Level 2) Intermediates (Levels 3) advanced (Level 4) and teacher training (Level 5). All of our classes combine embodiment technique and Zouk structure. We ask that if you have never danced before, please join any Level 1 course; and if you have experience of Zouk choose the level that feels right for you. Everything is shown in the timetable of our classes on the homepage. It's not a race to reach the top level, learning to dance is about enjoying exactly where you are in this moment!! ✨ 💃 Explanation of the levels: Level 1 - Learning the basic steps and structures of Brazilian Zouk. Level 2 - Learning the technique for the basic steps and a variety of variations and transitions. Level 3 - Learning the upper body and head movements with the basic steps and technique. Level 4 - Combining a variety of head movements with a variety of steps and transitions. Level 5 - Teacher training. 🕺 Class Information: All Zoukies classes are 90 minutes You do not need to come with a partner In class we like to rotate partners We also invite everyone in the class to learn both roles as a leader and follower 🙏 Payments: Drop-in classes are CHF40 (for 90 minutes) An abo of 10x classes is CHF350 An abo of 20x classes is CHF675 When you book online you receive Zoukinos (a points system to receive discounts) ...so the way to make the classes as cheap as possible for you is to purchase an abo of 20x classes and each week before class to show that you are attending by reserving your space online. If you do this each week the classes cost around CHF30 (per 90 minutes).
