City Retreat with Aline Cleto & Rafael Fernandes Soares

Join us for this soul-enriching city retreat with instructors Aline and Rafael from Sao Paulo, Brazil, alongside other local guest teachers. This retreat will open your eyes to a new sensitive side for yourself and your dance, inviting empathy, kindness, awareness and connection. Aline and Rafael have created the Sadhana dance methadology that mixes integrative therapies, with yoga and social dance.

You know the feeling when you're so present that time stops.

This is the qulaity of experience that we will learn how to bring into your social dance. We will go beyond the five senses and connect to the divine space that is within you.

What to expect:

• social dancing
• social dance connection
• listening to and expressing our limits
• lead techniques for absence and presence
• mico-leading
• close embrace and ways of touch
• getting creative with zouk mvoements
• connection to two (or more)

Other activities:

• meditations
• affection therapies
• group sharings
• group activities/rituals/relaxation

Practical questions:

• this retreat is open level for all dancers
• you do not need to bring a dance partner
• early bird pricing is available until midnight 6th November
• food and accomodation is not included
• dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday will be available for purchase.
